Honest Trailers Does Les Miserables

To be honest, I still haven’t seen Les Miserables, in any version, so I can’t judge how fair or unfair this is.

Les Miserables is amazing, probably could be my all time favorite story, it’s very well done.

You are not the first person to make me feel bad for not having seen it yet . . .

Let this post stand then as a testament to my puerile, uninformed cynicism, my ignorance, and my bad taste.

Men aren’t supposed to like musicals anyways…this is the only one worthy of watching.

I kind of like West Side Story, or parts of it anyway. I played in Fiddler on the Roof and Gypsy. I remember them being pretty good. I saw Hair once–everyone took off their clothes at the end (blush). I remember Jesus Christ Superstar having some good songs, but I can’t remember if us doctrinally oriented folks are supposed to like it or not, and I suspect it does not date well (ponderous, over-emoted 70s schlock). Grease, Chorus Line, All That Jazz–not really my thing but they had their moments.

I think that’s a 70-80% complete list of the musicals I know other than just by name . . .

  2. This is freaking hilarious!!!!! Peeing… my… pants!

Thanks for the comment, MBP! We don’t have any restrictions around here about spontaneous incontinence episodes (SIEs) but, you know . . . just leave the place like you found it, is all I’m saying.
