& Love Is All Around Me &

We interrupt this new light posting regimen for an important bulletin.

Yes, you might guess from the heading that something very wonderful and very magical and very incredibly special has happened, and you’d be . . . not completely right.

Silly, I didn’t mean to me!

Duh! As if!

No, it is in fact my blog mentor Nightsky Radio who has declared his upcoming life commitment to a blogosphere acquaintance I don’t think I know at all (so I can’t claim any credit for anything). Blessings and congrats to you both! Nightsky is like my blog dad, so I guess that makes Allamagoosa my step blog mom. I hope that doesn’t creep her out.

But wait, there’s more! To extend the list of gushy romantic declarations, Dave of Blog of Funny Names and very-nice-person-commenter amb are also a serious item now. Sadly, it is a near 100% certainty that I had nothing to do with that one either, but I can at least justly claim to be a BoFN fan from the moment this blog got a like from Dave, and a somewhat more recent fan of amb at Words Become Superfluous, after I started checking out her stuff. Zippy writers deserve each other. Congrats to you guys, too!

So, yeah, there’s a lot of love going around.

I feel a lot more positive about our four lovebirds than I’ll ever feel about the movie Love Actually, though I gotta admit that song was catchy.

Hey, if anyone else around here feels like declaring his or her undying love to anyone else around here, just go for it! I can update this baby anytime, no prob!

Pretty good trick, seeing as you’re a little older than us, heh.

Thanks for the kind words. Think you can make it over for the wedding?

    • wdydfae

Would be fun if I could! (For me, anyway!–Edit: meaning fun for me to be there but necessarily fun for you and your wonderful guests to have me there) But, doubtful. I’ll be there in spirit!

I own the Love Actually soundtrack! It’s great. “Songbird” by Eva Cassidy is just beautiful. Plus, you can boogie down with the Pointer Sisters, so there’s something for everyone!

Are you impressed that I made it this far in the comment without swooning over Dave? Lol! Thanks for the shout out, I’m so glad you appreciate me and all of my blog-crushing ridiculousness πŸ™‚

You got through that very well. I think it was the movie soundtrack topic that distracted you for that crucial seven second stretch that took you safely and swoonless halfway through the comment. Not that I want to discount your own exceptional exertion and self-control. In all, an impressive effort indeed.

        Why thank you!
PS: that was one of my favourite comments ever in the history of comments. You, my friend, are hilarious!

glad to see Dave and amber’s relationship being taken seriously πŸ˜‰ Good to meet you as any friend of amb’s is a friend of mine. Looks like a fun spot you have here–very cool with the tunes.

Thanks much, Liz! I’m honored by a visit from Ms. Cuisine. Please drop by again. I think I can proudly hold my own in the Youtube leech department, against any other upstart wannabe Youtube leecher that might be fantasizing about bettering me!

But I’m on a much lighter posting schedule now–prob. a short post every two or three days rather than two or three every day which is what I was doing till about a week ago.

Also, thanks to you, I know “amb” acutally means something now, and is not as I suspected the initials for another funny name, like Annabelle Mullet Bubbs, or Amelia Milhousen Brukenschmuken, or . . .

      • Liz

you and this nightsky guy are hilarious–good stuff! and lol yes, amb just means amb(er). Though here’s a piece of insider info for you: certain friends of Dave and amb (and by that I mean me) think they should jointly be called Davember in a nod to all of those other celebrity couples out there (bennifer etc). Damber was also in the running, but because it (almost) contained a swear word, didn’t seem a good fit for a sweet soul like amb.

OK, you posted multiple times each day? Wow. That’s a lot. I’ll be following your every (blog) move from here on out and look forward to your posts whenever they happen. Am honored you know me for food πŸ™‚ I will bring something for us to snack on next time I stop by. I’ll need to check back repeatedly to see if anyone else has taken you up on your offer to out their love to the world. What a cliffhanger you’ve set up πŸ˜‰

Aw, thanks. But do you really think I’d agree to marry him if something as simple as that would creep me out? Besides, it makes us even.

    • wdydfae

Thanks for dropping by and congratulations, allamagoosa!

Or, heck, why don’t I just call ya Mom!!!

      • allamagoosa ⋅

Thanks. So does that make you my son or my stepson?

      • So I’m gonna marry a single mom?

Dude, I am NOT giving you an allowance. Get a paper route.

I haven’t worked out the legalities, but whichever it is, I’m definitely gonna be your no good slacker son.

DAAaaaaaad! I tried that once, remember? Mr. Robinson’s poodle barked at me in a very threatening way. I was severely traumatized by the incident and ever since then I’ve had panic attacks when I see a rolled up newpaper.
