Department of Cheesily Creepy Viral Videos

This is a scene from a B grade eerie tales special that aired the other day. Can you believe I actually watched this? But only because the first tale (not this one) had Kyoko Fukada in it.

But I wasn’t watching the special closely enough to notice that strange . . . thing that appears, the thing that has this clip going madly viral. Can you spot it?

WAIT!!! Before you watch, be warned. Once you see it, you will . . . never feel the same about . . . cheaply produced tv specials with . . . set crew bloopers that they didn’t bother to edit out and look . . . vaguely like cheesy paranormal manifestations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At the beginning of the story, the girl on the floor bought a strange Russian doll (a Russian soldier doll modelled roughly on the nutcracker in The Nutcracker Suite), strangely attracted to it. Her friend and boyfriend noticed that it was creepy, but she couldn’t see it. They also found that it seemed to attack (hit, bit) and move on its own when you weren’t looking, as if the doll were jealous and possessive re: its owner. Finally, it drove the boyfriend away. The girl realized that it was true about the doll moving on its own, and she threw the doll away. But then later she heard knocking at her window at night. She told her landlord about it but he couldn’t see any evidence outside of anyone having been there. Scared, she asked her friend to come stay with her the next night. They both heard the knocking and went out to fight the would be intruder with an umbrella and a frying pan. They saw the Russian doll lying on the ground outside the window, freaked out, and ran back into her apartment. This is where we get to the present dialogue. “This is no good. It’s still out there. What are we going to do? We have to go out and destroy it!” “No way! I’m not going out there again!” Etc. etc. etc.

alrighty then! thanks for the translate, diddy.

I keep meaning to whine at you about something, but I put such a good face on for other folks. Only person I seem to whine for is my husband. Must work on that. Will try again later.
