  1. Beautiful song, and I admire the irony in the lyrics. Alzheimer’s is such a terrible disease. He died exactly one year to the day after my father passed from the same disease.

  2. Great song. I have the Lenard Nimoy version of it.

    This is another great one of his –

    But the one that I most identify with him – probably because I heard it as a kid – is “Rhinestone Cowboy.”
