They were playing “The Fat Man” on the radio here all day yesterday. NPR did a very nice tribute for him too.
Thanks, Fannie. I was not a fan or anything but I knew he was a giant.
But sometimes, not being much of an early rock afficionado, I tended to get Fats Domino, Fats Waller (my dad had him on old 78s) and Bo Diddly mixed up in my poor brain.
